Possessing a 3.5mm – 3.5mm jack plug, it can be used to connect a 3.5mm input (or headphone input) of a device such as a MP3 player or CD player to the audio output of another device such as a computer as part of a home cinema or entertainment systems. When not in use the cable can then be quickly and easily retracted into the plastic reel in-built into the line for compact and safe storage, with the retracted cable being able to fit into a pocket or bag for easy portability or stored at home with no risk of tangling or becoming a hazard.
